Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, although they could benefit from some minor touch-ups. The design of the rooms was captivating, making my stay enjoyable. The service was friendly and helpful, despite some instances where it felt a bit rushed. The location was conveniently situated near popular areas like the South Bund and Cool Docks, offering a unique atmosphere. The dining options were of good quality, albeit with limited breakfast times. The facilities met my expectations, providing a comfortable stay.
Staying at this hotel was an experience I won't forget. The rooms had a captivating design with a glass enclosed soaker tub and rainshower on a wood plank floor right in the middle of the room. The upgraded suite was luminous and well-ventilated, boasting multiple windows overlooking the inner courtyard, a light cube, and the terrace. However, there were some issues with service not being attentive and accommodating at times.
Staying on the 2nd floor meant missing out on any river view, but the rooms were cozy and comfortable within the industrial-heritage setting, although they could use a refurbishment. Service took a surprising wrong turn initially but recovered to be incredibly helpful. The location, though not perfect, offers a manageable walk to the Bund area with minor inconveniences in transport availability.
The hotel rooms are appointed with top design furniture and excellent towels and linens but do not offer any river view as located on the 2nd floor. The service was good overall, with efficient taxi arrangements but some mishaps in directions. The location provided convenience for exploring Shanghai but had challenges with taxi availability. The dining experience had its highlights with delicious breakfast options but could improve to match the hotel's design. The facilities offered meet a very good standard.
I felt conflicted about my stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly bright, especially the bathroom where I could admire the view from the bathtub. Although nicely designed and clean, I couldn't help but feel that for the price of 3500 RMB, the size of the room was a bit lacking. On the downside, there was almost constant banging during my stay.
The hotel offers a homey and comfortable stay under the industrial-heritage environment, with stunning views over Pudong from the rooms, especially the bathroom. However, some aspects seemed overpriced, like worn-out wooden floors. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would consider staying again.
My stay at the hotel was quite a mixed experience. On one hand, the rooms were extremely luminous and well-ventilated, offering a unique view of the inner courtyard, which I found delightful. However, the lack of detailed information about the surrounding area was a downside, and the room size left much to be desired - it certainly wasn't what I would consider a river suite.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were very spacious and clean, featuring a large shower and separate toilet, but they needed some sprucing up. On the bright side, the raised double bed, superb bathroom, Moulton Brown products, and Illy Espresso machine added a touch of luxury to the room.
The hotel offers stunning views over the Bund with rooms furnished to a high standard in an industrial chic style. The rooms feature a small foyer, a bathroom with a double-sink, a sexy peek-a-boo shower with a bathtub, separate toilet, big closets, sleeping area with a desk, and a well-sized private terrace with chairs and a table. While the service was polite and offered a private tour, it lacked in efficiency when it came to getting taxis. The location, while not very convenient at present, is poised to become popular and offers plenty of dining options at the lively docks. The dining experience varied from excellent daily free dishes like raw muesli to occasional disappointments, particularly at the expensive French restaurant. The facilities are modern and spacious, rated highly for their quality.
The hotel room had an impressive modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows that added to the spacious ambiance, yet the lingering smell of smoking was a downside. The service was cordial and reliable but lacked a deep understanding of hospitality nuances. The location offered a quieter retreat near the vibrant city center attractions, with a few disturbances like loud music in the area. The dining experience fell short, with less-than-ideal food quality and limited breakfast options. The facilities provided were satisfactory but not exceptional.
